Yet another reason why having a freshman OAD as your best player isn’t wise. That said, couldn’t happen to a better school.

I could teach a course on modern media literacy and how to verify a report is real. (Basically if big news happens and only one source in the world is reporting it, it’s likely BS.)
All that said, the Peterson situation has Jarred Vanderbilt vibes. Not saying Vanderbilt misled anyone, but the will he/wont he return is eerily similar.

If a player that has recovered from an injury sits because they're afraid they'll play poorly and hurt their draft stock I wouldn't blame them for looking after their own best interests but I'm not an NBA GM. If I was an NBA GM I think I'd wonder how much drive that player would have after they got their money. I can guarantee neither Bird nor Jordan nor Kobe would have ever done that.

Anything I could do to provide a little light in the world. There is a reason I try to be understanding of others even on the internet. I’ve seen the real life effects of some of these things first hand. Figure it’s better for me to make an *** of myself to drive the point, because the people who really suffer usually won’t say it. It’s actually quite sad. It never hurts anyone to remember the people first, then the arguments and points second. God bless.
