I think the problem lies in possible discord on the coaching staff. I don't have any direct evidence, but there seems to be at least some indication the assistants and head coach aren't all pulling in the same direction.

Agree with the OP and to add I think there is a team division as well. Boom's situation and Baker all are head scratchers. Some with what ever is going on with Towles/Barker. Not to mention something Freddie mentioned the other day about a division between offense and defense.

I sure hope all the drama we hear about is not really true. I can imagine how tough it is to function as a team with dissension and turmoil brewing in the locker room.

Not sure the offense vs defense thing is that big of a deal .Chuck Knoll once said that on some of his best teams the offense and defense hated each other .
