Agree they could have packed it in after the OSU loss.... Now they are in the Big 10 Champioinship Game.
I am looking forward to see this coaching staff perfrom in such a unique situation... underdog, no one thinks they can win... and if they do lose we get a home playoff game.

Agree. Really fun team and some great players. Allar has had a really good year while Warren and Carter went off. Hopefully they pull this out somehow.
Weird, most game day Saturdays I’m a nervous wreck. Not today.
I am proud of that team. The coaches failed in some key instances but there kids left it out there. I love their chances to get into elite 8.

Despite the two TOs and the misuse (and no use) of yellow flags, this Team was right there. Can’t wait for the playoffs!
Gutsy performance by everyone on the PSU sideline. They get another home game now, should be ready to roll for that one. No injuries, thankfully.

Super proud of the team after sitting in LOS watching this team. Play with that desire to compete and win, clean up the mistakes, and there is a chance to do some damage in playoffs.

Once again, Franklin loses another big game on the big stage. I have zero confidence that this team will do damage in the playoffs. Oregon exploited the hell out of Penn State’s defensive weaknesses. That combined with so many self inflicted mistakes cost Penn State the B1G Championship.

I am amazed at the numerous missed calls by the officiating.....some were so obvious it made me think the fix was in. Zero holding calls against Oregon? With that said...PSU must play with better discipline.

So much to say about that game if you wish. When a game is lost fans will overly focus on everything that went wrong. Not so much when you win so I'm just going to let it go and say that the team proved it can play with anybody. It doesn't matter who they draw in the CFP. It's going to be fun over the next month or so.
Thanks @LionJim. This team has played their asses off and that includes the coaching staff.
I'm optimistic that the team now sees what it takes to compete at a championship level, and believes that it can do if they can just avoid unforced errors
Oregon had no answer for the Nittany Lion running game. Late in the first half and late in the second half Penn State was running through the Oregon defense like a hot knife cutting through butter which is why I do not understand the risky 50/50 pass call which was intercepted. This was a mistake in my opinion.
The players did their part, they played hard and at times outplayed the number 1 team in the country on both sides of the ball. If the coaching staff makes the necessary adjustments a National Championship is not out of the question.

I agree with your sentiments for most part. Some head scratching play calls, but execution needs to be better as well. Poor throws, missed angles on tackles, missed FG, and a few other things. Coaches and players clean it up a bit and definitely can do some damage.
