When this stat popped up it really stopped me in my tracks. Wooden has always been the standard bearer for college hoops and now K has matched this unbelieveable feat. So grateful that we've had Coach K for 35 years.

ESPN reported the coaches in this FF have more FF appearances than anyother other year. 27 I believe was the number, well K has 12 of those. Not bad.

This is truly a great accomplishment. And, he's done it at a good school but one that never won a title previously, unlike Roy or Calipari or others who walked into already great historic programs).

As many have noted, K is the greatest and most consistently great coach of the 64-team era.

And what's most remarkable about this? It's 29 years removed from his first. That's amazing.

I don't know how much longer he will coach but we need to cherish every moment. We don't realize how great he is even with the credit we currently give him. OFC

12 Final Fours in 35 years. That means that roughly one in every three seasons, for over three decades, Coach K has been in a Final Four. Just ponder how remarkable that is.
