Kamala Harris was declared the “winner” of the first round of 2020 Democrat debates. Harris had pounced on the frontrunner Joe Biden and “drew blood.”
Harris blamed Biden for California liberals’ forced busing to integrate schools after the passage of the 1964 Civil Rights Act. “I was that little girl,” Harris railed at Biden.
She told a national television audience that she attended the second integrated class in Berkeley, CA. A flustered Biden, who had no idea how to respond, simply said, “I’m sorry” as his time expired.
It was a complete and total, brazen, bald-faced lie. No one in the media has corrected Harris’ fabrication, even though it is easily disproved by anyone with 30 seconds of free time and access to a search engine.
Berkeley schools began integrating before the passage of the 1964 Civil Rights Act. Every school in the Berkeley School District was fully racially integrated by the fall of 1968.
Harris was four years old that fall. She didn’t even start kindergarten until after all of the Berkeley schools were integrated.
