I know most of us despise them both, but from a pragmatic level, I'll be hating UNC less tonight (all-time wins). If it was a tournament game, I'd probably have to hate Kansas less. It's usually situational for me when it comes to Duke, UNC, and Kansas.

Tar Holes. My brother in law who lives in Raleigh would be disappointed. He is an ABC guy. Anybody but Carolina.

Here in NC there are lots of ABC fans. Most of them are NC St fans.
As a life long UK fan who lived next to or in Raleigh for 28 years, I am an ABCD fan (“Anybody But Carolina or Duke”).

So I easily hate Kansas less!


(my girlfriend’s family, her kids, are UNCheat fans)

Pragmatically speaking, I concur.

UNC***

Let's see if they can cheat their way to a victory. If UNC*** wins, and UK wins, from the pragmatic viewpoint, we're up 6 wins on Kansas if that occurs.

I'm for that!

Kansas looked really bad against Arkansas, and while I realize they had important guys out, I think UNC is likely better than them.

At the Fogg hate both can’t watch but betting KU -7.5 and under 159. My prediction is 80-72 Kansas

Where's option C....... THE ASTEROID ...... I just can't see myself rooting for neither of these teams ever. Just like I can't ever see myself rooting for UT or Louisville tomorrow.... I hate them all equally....

Before Hunter Dickinson transferred to Kansas, I would have answered differently. However, there is no college basketball player whom I like less than Hunter Dickinson. He's one of the people in this world whom I would like to buy based on how good he is, and sell based on how good he thinks he is !

I don't mind Bill Self. I don't mind Hubert Davis and I didn't mind Ol' Roy. I had just about as much disaffinity for Dean Smith as I now have for Hunter Dickinson.

Just MHO, of course.

I don’t dislike Kansas. I don’t dislike Duke. I go back to Cotton Nash being my first UK hero (only because I was only 4 when Odie Smith was leading the ‘58 champs). I despise North Carolina at Chapel Hill. They are the biggest cheaters of all time and were smoked out after the Architect of the scam, Dean E Smith, designed the fake class, holier than though Carolina Way scam. Thanks to the NCAA and ESPN they walked. I hope Kansas blows them out.

I will tell you how I really feel about them one day,

I do not like either team but I guess I will hate UNC less tonight. I think they will lose by double figures. Though I am usually wrong about early season games.

Do I have to hate anyone less? Can't I just watch the game and enjoy a ranked college basketball matchup without having any sort of opinion on who wins?

UNC is the correct answer, but my wife is a huge KU fan, so, for the good of our marriage, I have to be on the KU side tonight. I'm AM hoping for a few turned ankles, though.
