I think Google data mining has found what is wrong with Kansas. Google published a map of words googled for the correct spelling. I looked at Kentucky first, and it was "gray". Well, you can spell it "gray" or "grey". Fine. Then Vermont sticks out. Their word was "tong". Ooo-kay. Too much maple syrup I suppose.
Then we come to Kansas. The most common word googled for correct spelling in Kansas is "cook". Let that sink in... they have trouble spelling a word you should know by at least second grade, right?
