Kentucky a 10 seed in Lunardi's latest projection

At this point just make the tournament. Idc what seed we are.
Apparently we have the toughest remaining schedule, so we are really going to have to earn it to improve on that seed. A win today would be a great step though.
This! It’s EARLY still! Those two home losses really hurt. Should’ve won both.
If Pope can’t get his team fired up and come out to play against not only imo our biggest rival… but the team that embarrassed you in the tournament and ended your first season as Kentucky head coach then idk what else will.
Like many have said it’s not the wins and losses it’s the way they do it. If they come out flat today I probably will be 100% out on Pope. I’m at 97% now lol.
I feel the same way. Today's game will tell the story of the rest of the season imo and possibly Pope's tenure here. There's no excuse to not be ready to play today.

I just really hate UT. More than any other team. I don't take losing to them very well. Expect me to be in a bad mood if we play bad.
I'm with you. I actually think we win this game. Tennessee hasn't really impressed me this year and I hope the energy from the miracle carries over.
Yes losing against Tennessee has almost gotten me fired because I tried to watch at work. It was perfectly ok that I was watching. Breaking expensive touch screens on industrial machines wasn’t so cool.
I hope today isn’t a must win because I have severe doubts we stay within double digits today. I do think we have to protect home court the rest of the season, that includes ranked teams. If we don’t, I doubt we get in.
Can’t believe they’ve paid him big money for all these years to do what any half competent basketball fan could do, and maybe even do better. Kinda obvious what to do. Take about the top 35 teams, throw in some conference tournament winners, then throw in about 20 at large teams who have a pulse and organize them in a little bracket structure. Making sure to put Duke on the (1) line and UNC in the bracket even if they don’t deserve to be in are top priorities.
After that, make sure UK is bracketed with potential opponents UL, Arkansas, UT (who we already played twice if not 3 times), Indiana, and prolly BYU this year.
After that, make sure Duke plays in Raleigh, Greensboro, or Charlotte until the Final Four.
Then, talk about how somebody’s full body of work just didn’t stack up to somebody else’s even though it’s obvious that it’s BS.
That’s all.

Lunardi is an easy punching bag but the dude made a career out of a passion project, love for college basketball. He isn’t the best bracketologist but I respect the hustle. No hate from me, Lunardi.
No hate, just the fact that as you get older you learn to look past the BS. His job and frankly his opinions aren’t any more informed that anybody else’s.
