Yea. I know! Coach K speaks to the haters to look up at all of our banners when they question his coaching and everybody all of the sudden turns rabid. LolIf this was duke it'd be ALL over the internet
That's because "Dog Bites Man" is not big news, "Man Bites Dog" is.If this was duke it'd be ALL over the internet

Unfortunately that word gets tossed around quite freely these days (from all races), I've even seen it on this board.
I imagine that would be based on personal experience. I am sure some people use it freely, but in my experience it is very rare to hear it used as a slur or even in reference to people.Unfortunately that word gets tossed around quite freely these days (from all races), I've even seen it on this board.
Yea, that has never been used on this board.I’ve never seen that word used on this board because I’m sure no Mod would allow any poster to use that language here. If they did, they should have been called out (like this
lady).
Yea, that has never been used on this board.
I don’t think I have ever seen it used here either.Yea, that has never been used on this board.
It actually was use, (not to call the person out, again) but they put a meme from The movie Training day when Dezell said My N...... I called them out on it, cause I dont agree with it being used for a joke, or hate.. Not to stir the pot but it has been said on this board.
That's a little different IMO. Not that I condone the use in any situation. But in the context of the current conversation, that is not the same. If you don't like people using it in any context, that's great. But it is much different when people say it as a synonym for homey than it is in the context of this lady's behavior. It actually was use, (not to call the person out, again) but they put a meme from The movie Training day when Dezell said My N...... All good here, bro. I don't use it in any context myself. Nothing but respect for your stance, I was just speaking of the cultural use of the word. I am all for it never being said in any form, but we know better than that.I think its an ugly word in any context, and its not a synonym for anything other than hate and ignorance. I obviously have a deep dislike for the word, and I get that other may not. I certainly wont back down from my stance and i'm not petitioning for anyone else too. Sorry to turn this into a debate, probably should have know better.
In Training Day Denzel Washington used the word that ends with A, so it’s not exactly the same as the using the word that ends with ER. Although neither word should be used, some people would say that the two words have different meanings. I personally see the one ending with A used a lot more often than the one ending with ER.Unfortunately that word gets tossed around quite freely these days (from all races), I've even seen it on this board.

Why no comment? What part of my post wasn’t true?wow!! no comment.
Funny how they can dish out the trash talking, but if another fan from another fan base gives them the business like that fan, they melt to shreds!
I am white, so I can’t claim to understand how it feels to be called that, or why some use it, but to me, it is very derogatory and flat out shows where your mind is and what you are about.
True. However as someone who lived there for 5 years I can say with confidence most of their fan base has absolutely no problem using that word.Embarrassing.
It should be noted that it's just one stupid, ignorant UK fan. It's not like there's a group chanting it or anything. Unfortunately, stupid people live in the world.
