Pretty annoyed at the strikeouts. Morehead struck out the side in the bottom of the second after Cottam drew a lead off walk. That can't happen against this team. Swung at a lot of balls.
UK got something working here. Johnson singled, Dawson walked and Pompey hbp to load them. Big time spot here for UK to blow this one wide.
Becker also does his job with a deep fly ball! 2-0 UK. We actually have a runner at 3rd now. So, everyone has moved up on both those sacs.
Hits would be better, but love that they are putting the ball in play.

Morehead goes to another pitcher after Shinn and Aklinski walk. Johnson then lines into a double play that gets Aklinski at second and Shinn gets thrown out trying to steal second. That's 3 outs on the bases tonight, all trying to take second.
R Johnson should have sac bunted the runners to 2nd and 3rd. Then maybe Dawson can get a sac fly or rbi ground out, or safety squeeze !
Harper gives up back to back singles and UK turns to Coleman to get them out of this jam. UK still up 4 in the top of the 5th
With a little more luck that hit scores a run instead of being two outs. I'm not mad at the decision either way. At least not with a 4 run lead.
Coleman does what he does best and starts off with a strikeout and follows it up with the same for out number 2.
How about Carson Coleman K's 2 of the best hitters around and gets the ground out to end the inning !!
Kentucky really likes to play with fire in this one. Once again allows the first two to reach and then Coleman gets a strikeout and a double play to end the threat.
