Kentucky jumped out to a 7-1 lead and Cody was cruising along until the 4th inning, when the Dawgs put up a 5 spot. Cats added a run in the 5th now lead 8-6 in the 6th.

JaVon Shelby with his 2nd homer of the game, a 2 run shot makes it 10-6 UK, going to the bottom of the 6th. Shelby has 2 homers, a triple, and 7 rbi's. He has come alive today !
Still 10-6 UK going to the 9th. Justin Lewis has came on to pitch, has given up a couple of singles, but has looked fantastic !
Cats add 4 runs in the top of the 9th, with help from the Georgia keystone cops. Marcus Carson with a highlight film catch in center, Lewis has a 1, 2, 3 9th inning. Cats take the series with a 14-6 drubbing of the Dawgs.

Good comeback series win, thought the 2nd pitcher UK used (Chuck Hayes cousin) was very effective, looked very good on the mound. Shelby was unbelievable.
If the weather is decent, I am going to try to catch a game this weekend.
We have won 7 of the last 11 games versus Florida, that does not mean we have a better team, but sometimes you just match up better with some teams, or get up for teams. Much like everybody plays their arses off against us in basketball, then lays an egg against lesser teams.

Said after WKU I wouldn't be back, but I'm easy so if the weather is pretty may try to come down for a game or two...also want to see SB play...just went back and checked the forecast and it looks good ...60ish Temps with lots of sun
