I don't even think this tells the whole story of how bad it was. He only TRIED 13 attempts, and think about how many times we were in what should be makeable FG range - inside a 45-yard attempt and Fitz wouldn't even TRY the FG because he knew it was worthless. If there were another 6 of those - and someone can check, but it seems like we invariably were stopped on downs - then you can consider those 6 more "misses" and say we had 6 FGs in 19 FG situations --- freaking unbelieveable.
I really try to refrain from bagging on any of our players, but good lord Charlie will go down in history as probably our worst/most frustrating kicker, and he has LOTS of competition in that category, probably more than at any other position on the field. I actually do feel badly that this report even exists, but facts are facts.

Lies, damn lies and statistics. He's NU's 2nd all time in kicker points and 4th in FG's. He's even 8th in FG%, amongst those that actually kicked a few. Ahead of Brian Gowins. Go figure.
Let the kid move on and live his life. It serves no purpose to regurgitate how bad he was when he isn’t even coming back.
