It appears Lincoln Riley didn't want the job...

I think he sees great things in store for next season and he knows he has a great future in CFB with or with out Houston.

Houston Chronicle reporting that the USA Today is incorrect regarding Kiffin. Lincoln Riley turning down UH or UH telling Riley no thanks is purely speculation. Oh, no-one knows what goes on behind closed doors

So the Houston Chronicle reported yesterday that Riley was no longer being considered, according to sources... today they report it is speculation?

I guess tomorrow they will be announcing Riley as HC...

I think the speculation is about why he's no longer being considered The talk is that after losing 3 straight coaches to P5 jobs (Briles, Sumlin, and now Herman, UH has put a huge buyout clause in place and speculation is the LRM would not agree to it.
