Knapper Undergoes Knee Surgery

MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (September 1, 2017) – West Virginia University freshman guard Brandon Knapper underwent surgery Friday for a meniscus repair in his right knee. He is out indefinitely.

Knapper, a native of South Charleston, West Virginia, attended Hargrave Military Academy last season and previously attended South Charleston High.

“Brandon has been looking forward to putting on a WVU uniform for years now,” coach Bob Huggins said. “We have all the confidence in Brandon that he will work diligently to get back on the court as soon as possible.”

This one hurts. A season of promise is looking a little shakey with the loss of Knapper and Culver. The depth chart is taking a hit and it is a long grueling season. If anyone can overcome these obstacles, it's Huggins. Glad we have a HOF coach to lead the way.

damn.
Was Knapper projected to be the #2 PG?
(and Beetle a 2-guard?)
Seems if Beetle has added some more strength he'd be fine at the point.
