I have read often that KSR now has a level of access to the team and Coach Pope that they didn't have with Calipari. A story by ON3 seems to indicate that we are actively recruiting a player from BYU that has not entered the Portal. Do you think this article is due to the usual irresponsible reporting from the site or is it possible that with the newly formed team and coach access, they picked up the news from one of our coaches. Just asking because the article seems very poorly timed. It's a bad look, if true.

Might help to actually read the article and not the headline. Saunders was in the portal, visited UK, and chose to stay at BYU. The article states that and talks about the year he's having. That's it.
Of course it is. Just looking for a gotcha on Matt and KSR. Like him or not, for the life of me I can't understand the fans that can't appreciate what he does. There aren't many college athletic programs that get coverage like we do from KSR and the gang.
Key word here is "actively." If KSR used that word in the present tense, it was very poor judgement. If you added that key word...same.

LOL! Did you even read the article or remember that we recruited Saunders THIS PAST SUMMER? He (or his wife) decided Lexington wasn’t for them . He’s having a nice season and could have helped. There is NOTHING in that story that hints we are currently recruiting him or will be in the future .End of story.
All it says is he’s having a good year. WTF are you talking about?
Well he hasn’t focused on them since he was scrambling to put a roster together last spring so……
