I love their game plan so far. Throw caution to the wind, use every second of the play clock, and wear out that defense.

They won't win, but this is refreshing to see.

14-7 Baylor has had the ball less than 3 minutes. KSU defense is fresh.

Yankees, the Wildcats right now are doing a good job on offense. Early second, they're in FG territory quickly, 2nd and one at the B 26.

I don't think they can get a turnover. You have to get close enough to tackle somebody to get a turnover. Can't see much difference between their old quarterback and the true freshman. But OU is better at corner. The Wildcat DB's have no chance.

Snyder is going to get his QB killed. Baylor laying the wood on every run. Just recovered fumble.

Kansas State's offense is running the clock. Hope OU will have the same game plan November 14. The Sooners have a better defense than KSU, but keeping the Bears off the field is major.

I never complain about officiating, but where was the flag on the Kung Fu chop on the KSU running back after the play? Also, Hubner was in on the KSU TD that was called at the one......

Probably will have score more than Baylor to win. A good defense will go a long way of giving us a chance. Baylor can score quickly. There they go again. Three TDs in less than a 2 minute drive. The last in 10 seconds.

Mayfield can hurt Baylor with his legs as well as his arm, especially if Perine and Mixon are cruising.

Baylor dosnt match up with OU. OU will score anyway they want on Baylor. And you guys can save this post if you want. Baylor will score in the mid 20's on OU. But OU will hang half a hundred on them. The team to beat in this conference is TCU.

Baylor is not freaking invincible. You guys who thinks they are just don't know football and or haven't been paying attention other than how many points Baylor puts up.

It sure wasn't tonight was it? You know that same team OU beat 55-0. Remember? It won't be a shootout, it will be an easy OU win. If you don't think OU out talent Baylor you just don't know football. All you know is points scored vs handkerchief state teams. That's why Baylor is no where near a top 4 team in the country. I don't think they're even top 10.

I don't think Baylor is a top 4 team, especially with Russell being out. However if you think ou will have an easy win in Waco that's a head scratcher. Ou will have their hands full and then some

Well you better start scratching your head then. I'll remind you to do so after every game going forward. You just don't know football do you?

Mike I hate to break your heart but you are in the minority of thinking Baylor will be an easy win. I can guarantee that is not Bob stoops say of thinking. Tennessee wasn't easy, Tulsa was a struggle at times and we lost to one of the worst teams in college football. However beating top 10 Baylor in Waco will be easy. Riiiiight mike

Actually, I like our chances.
I mean, the law of averages dictate we're due for a win.
Baylor squeaked K-State.
That tells me they aren't the big bad wolf SOME HERE think they are.

They bleed just like everybody else...and that blood is just as red.

Baylor is definitely weakened by the loss of their starting qb. The good thing about all this is that by the end of this month we finally know who is the big dog in the conference. I have tcu beating OSU this weekend to start it off. If ou and tcu win this Saturday next week will be huuuuge. One game at a time fellas

Yes, we're talking about ONE game...OU vs Baylor.

Could you even begin to try to keep up?

Really? Funny how you try and go all the way back to the second game of the season. A game OU won. Then you bring the rivalry game in, a game OU lost. But not one time have you mentioned the games OU has won. Wonder why you do that? I know your a realist and by god you know what you're talking about. Reality says you love to stir other Sooner fans up. At this poinit not even sure you're a SOONER fan.

From forstwt the post I've see, your you take joy in o

Because I don't view the Baylor game as an easy win you have decided to insult me and question my allegiance as an OU fan. Sorry if I don't find that a bit comical and ridiculous. If you decided to get "stirred" up that's your choice. As I stated, I'm sure our coaches have a different view on that game and thank god

I find it hard to believe that a so called moderator can tell people on this board things he gave warnings and time off for before. I guess you "know" football Mike? I'll be your huckleberry then. How about that? Or better yet, put the bottle down, pass that joint, and go pass out in the backyard....

THIS is why other OU boards make fun of us!! We can't agree on how crappy our team is! ;)

Seriously, would be hard to successfully argue that our chances at Baylor haven't improved notably...obviously.

Mike, I think you might be right, especially because the Frogs hosts Baylor. But I don't think last night is an indication of an easy win for the Sooners in eight days.

I suspect Baylor wasn't quite as excited to play last night as they will be next week. My guess is that their frosh quarterback does a little better at home than on the road. They got their best defender back last night, and he'll be better physically nine days rested. He wasn't nearly as explosive last night. I can't even remember 75's name, but he is a terrific playmaker. We found out last night that he'll never make it as a pass defender, but he seldom needs to. Ah, Andrew Billings.

Ever remember one of those guys who dominates against average or below average opponents, but kind of disappears when the player he lines up against can play too? I think that might define Shawn Oakman, the cheap shot artist. I guess we'll find out which category of opponent OUr young tackles fit into at this stage of their careers.

Baylor's receivers dropped a lot of balls last night. Stiff wind? Lack of concentration? Looking ahead? Or maybe just not as sure handed when covered decently. We do have a little matter to contend with tomorrow night first.

I would be very nice to give them their first loss in their new place. I'm feeling more confident about that as of this moment. But I dang sure ain't picking any blowouts. I'd confess that the last time I had a discussion like this was when Bullmarket was here in 2000 telling us all that the Sooners were going to blow out Texas, and I tried to logically explain to him that it wasn't going to happen. So I have been wrong before.

I feel so much better knowing that OU is going to win easily over Baylor next Saturday. Sure takes a load off my mind. I won't even look at the line, I'm going to place a blind bet on OU for a C-note now. So easy to beat the odds when you have a message board guru to help you. Yankees (or anyone for that matter), why would you doubt the obvious?

Seriously, I can't believe anyone really feels that beating Baylor will be that easy, but I sure hope that's the case. I do agree that TCU is the better team at this point.

I agree and feel OU can win out, but can also stumble if they don't come prepared and ready to play every remaining game. I like the odds whenever Bob is the underdog. He coaches at his best when he isn't expected to win more times than not, IMO. I see tight games the rest of the way except tomorrow. OSU could be a Sooner rout though. I just don't think the Cowboys are that good. We will see how they handle TCU.

Is this a serious post?? I mean are you basing your claim that OU will beat Baylor easily by comparing how both Baylor and OU did against KSU??? If that's the case, then you really have zero grounds for saying others "just don't know football."

I don't doubt that the OU-Baylor game got MUCH more even now that Baylor lost their starting QB. But I think it's incredibly naive to just assume that OU will go down there and easily win that game.
