For those of us who aren't Iowa fans and aren't tuned in - what's the status of Kueter and football?

oooo a plot twist; what's the general sentiment amongst the fans here - would you rather him do both or commit to one full time?
I'd rather he wrestled full time. I think his upside is much higher on the wrestling team than the fb team.
I agree, but our linebacker play has been awful all year. Can't help but think of how nice it would have been to have Kueter at MLB over the 5'8" kid lol.

It's not difficult to ascertain what upside means here. But I'll describe it for you, just for ***** and giggles, since you seem to be having troubles... Wrestling upside... Likely to be an AA, again, just like he was as a freshman and potentially a natty champ down the road. On a top 2, 3 nationally ranked wrestling team. Football... maybe he starts down the road. Maybe he doesn't. Some good young lbers on the team. Probably never be an all B10 linebacker. On an Iowa team that will be a middle of the pack B10 team with its usual 8-4 type blah season and play in a mid tier forgettable bowl game. His talent level in the college wrestling world is quite above his talent level in the college football world.
