On the scary side, some guy apparently threatened on Twitter to kill Matthew Hurt’s family if he didn't choose Kentucky.

On a less serious level, check out this reaction from Lexington radio host Michael Bennett, also on Twitter:

“Another win for Duke, but another mistake for a recruit. Beware future 5 star recruits you will not win a championship nor be prepared for the nba unless you learn from @UKCoachCalipari . He will teach you the process for success.”

Not to pick on him too much but NBADraft.net currently projects Duke players being drafted at #1, #3 and #11 and Kentucky players at #12, #21 and #27. That’s success!”

These two stories aren't generalizations. They happened. Just like 40-0. Just like tattoo's. Just like threatening refs. Just like a lot more. Whether you like it or not, Kentucky fans have a reputation. It's not a good reputation, either....and it's not made up. Don't be mad at opposing fans for generalizing all the time. Your fanbase has a lot of really stupid people. Be mad at them.
