I'm not just glad for him that he won a title, but really, what was great for him is how he played. He played better in that finals series than he has at any point his entire career - including at Duke. That says something about a player - that you can perform great, genuinely raise the level of your game, at the highest level and at the most crucial time. The 3 pointer that basically won the 7th game and the 41 point game were extraordinary. And, his defense was amped up - compared to how he played D at times against Toronto's guards, it was night and day.
Win or lose, he raised his game and played the way he needed to for the team. He has to be proud of that.
