With Watkins out and little brother blocking the transfer of Goard.......... West will be relied on now for serious backup PF minutes.



Forward Depth:

SF - Ahmad (20 minutes), Adrian (10 minutes), Guards (10 minutes)

PF1 - Holton (20 minutes), Adrian (10 minutes), West (10 minutes)

PF2 - Williams (23 minutes), Macon (15 minutes), Routt (1-2 minutes)

Don't think Goard was going to have all that big an impact anyway in just one season (if this is correct as a grad transfer). Didn't play in 2012-13 season nor 2014-15. Having experience was the main draw & honestly speaking one decent season at Marshall isn't bringing a whole lot in that department.

The current & incoming forwards should be good to go. 3-guard lineup gives a host of rotation possibilities as well.

For coming season for West, it'd be great to get a little shot blocking/shot changing & rebounding in Watkins' absence. Scoring contributions will probably be a bonus so early in his college career. Weight room will be his new 2nd home.

Adrian, who certainly could have a better bounce back year, seems to find his way on the court a lot. As noted, West may dig in & share some of those minutes. All depends on West's defense.
