Yeah, he got all his points in transition on pretty much wide open shot attempts. Guy can shoot, but I was not impressed with his future prospects as he needs to be wide open to be effective.

Never fails.

The kid was making every shot on the break by shooting before the defense could set up and then we left him open several other times. For some reason opposing shooters love Rupp Arena. It has been that way for the last 30+ years. It is truly amazing how well some decent shooters do against us in Rupp.

Why?
I still root for the teams with a chance to continue to win SEC games. Win this and Ole Miss could be 8-3 or 7-4 in the league. IMO, Florida may lose their next 4 after this (at Bama, vs Arky, at Vandy, vs UK).

Terrible play by Vandy. OT. The guy one of our posters called " a better guard than any UK has" has not impressed much tonight.

FL down 1 with 26 seconds left.

He is shooting 42% on the season. He is a good enough shooter that coach cal had him as the one that could not be left open.

Apparently not against LSU.
Riley had a terrible game...

Freshmen gonna freshmen.

That kid will be in the gym well after everybody else is asleep to get it corrected.

If this is true why is the opponents' 3 point fg % is 27%. I know it seems that way but obviously the stats say otherwise. In most games there are players that shoot well above their percentage and players that struggle.

Ole Miss' Moody today could not buy a bucket but he was all world against UK today 2 for 10 (no three's) . LaChance for Vandy was 2 for 10 (no three's) in their loss to LSU.

People always think it's only true at Rupp or against UK. True, UK will get everyone's best effort, but in 95% of all basketball games, at least one player on a team will be on his 'A' game. Any coach worth his salt will force feed the ball to that guy. It happens at every level. The other 5% of the time, when everyone is off or there is foul trouble, that team is just going to get obliterated.
