They are thinking about getting multiple NFL teams to play there?

But they're looking at multiple teams knowing that some will turn them down. They'll try to get either the Jags or the Bills, then work their way down the list if both turn them down.

Didn't I read this just a few months ago, except they were focused entirely on the Rams? I think it was during that whole Rush Limbaugh ownership thing?

I'm not sure how realistic it is to expect any of the teams mentioned other than the Jags to move to LA. That being said if the Jags were to move the NFL would have to realign the AFC b/c teams aren't going to want to fly cross country to play a divisional game twice a year and the Jags aren't going to want to fly cross country 6 times a year to play divisional games either.

Building a bigger stadium for Jacksonville football fans would be like building a bigger public library for high school drop-out crystal meth tweakers. It's just not going to get much use.

I've thought for a while now that the Bills or Jags would move. Buffalo is a dying city with a terrible media market.

I think if the Bills move it will be to Toronto, its a big TV market and Goodell is all about trying to go global and this would be a chance to go international, albeit Canada, also it keeps the Bills in the northeast which keeps them geographically in the AFC East.

It's been talked about for a while here in Jacksonville. It was just a matter of time before it became public. Reports are that Wayne Weaver doesn't want to leave. But as a Jags fan, I wouldn't blame him. I just hope if he does, he makes damn sure to take Del Rio and Garrad with him.
