…honestly, they looked awful against a bad Alabama team, and lost. The win at home Sunday was anything but impressive. Tonight, they look like dogshit at home against the worst team in the SEC.

Alabama was first game without Teoni Key, who is one of the 2 or 3 beat players on the team. Then they went out and beat a top 10 team without Key on Sunday, that's an impressive win.

The girls have a tendency to start fast, then go in to lazy mode, weak passes, silly turnovers. None of them have played very good defense. They do this a lot, Brooks has lit in to them several times tonight and deservedly so.

Uh, still have to beat Alabama. Not an excuse. Not only lost to a bad Alabama team, but got throttled.

Beat number 5 Oklahoma. I have season tickets. I was at the game. Honestly, both teams were awful. Kentucky was just a hair less awful.

Tonight, an absolute embarrassment. Bring back Mitchell.

This is the equivalent of Calipari losing to Kansas St, without their best player, St Peter’s, and Oakland, With 20 5 star McDonald’s All Americans.

Florida is wearing their a— out, no defense from anybody. They are just watching them drive by their defender with no effort to draw a charge or help each other on defense. They let Florida have beer muscles and now we are playing scared, also Strack picks up at least two cheap fouls every game. She has got to stop doing this, she can’t help the team on the bench. I would like to see more fire out of her.

Bro, our girls have been so much more fun to watch than our men’s team! They actually give it all that they have! Why talk such negative **** about them?

The thing I noticed about women's basketball at this level is just how many mistakes they make. Watching those games just makes you shake your head.
I watched the Oklahoma game. I thought both teams played hard, but as I'm watching it, I found myself just repeating "why didn't you just make the simple play there?". I still thought both teams were very good though.
UK is good, but they have a hard time following up a great win with another win. Win @ LSU, get pounded by Alabama, beat #5 Oklahoma, pushed by a bad Florida team. Is what it is.

Edit: I was thinking we were getting smoked by Florida based on the comments in here, I see now that the cats actually won the game. How did that happen?

If I were Kenny Brooks I would send some game film clips of the Bull sh— calls Clara Strack gets more often than not. That girl fell down and they call a foul, they just can’t make the right call, the girl fell down. There are three refs why can’t one see it.

I love watching the Lady Cats. Actually enjoy watching them more than the Men’s team.

Just pointing out my observations.

Glad they came back and won, but, let’s not kid ourselves. Life and death at home against an atrocious Florida team, doesn’t inspire a lot of confidence.

You obviously don’t follow my posts much. I’m a lifelong diehard UK fan. I just post the way I see things. My thoughts and opinions don’t change anything. This is a message board.

I just try to be honest.

Alabama is bad? #21 in the nation with a 16-1 record. Doesn't sound too bad to me.

Yep, and if Ole Miss's starting point guard, who was torching us all game, doesn't go out with cramps, we lose that game. I still do not like how Cal handled that team. We were absolutely loaded and he turned that team into a team that struggled to make it out of the 60s points wise each game most nights.

I absolutely love watching these ladies. They work their tails off and never give up. Got to love that in my opinion. Of course there are a few teams who may beat them right now but at the end of the year and next season they’re going to be hard to beat I believe. Getting better every time out there and when they get Key back, ‘ who would’ve really made a difference tonight’, they’ll make a nice run. I think they absolutely have a chance to make the final four this season with some good matchups of course. Ohh and the life or death stuff someone said earlier. Come on now. Just my opinion about it of course but we’re very lucky to have Kenny Brooks leading this program.

You have to look at Women’s basketball with a different mindset. Not a knock on it. The level of athleticism is no where near the men’s game so it’s going to look slower and sloppier in comparison.

My Wife jumped my *** this morning for my posts last night. She’s right. I posted some ridiculous stuff. My apologies. I was frustrated with the performance against Florida, and posted angry. Kids, never post angry.

Brooks has done an amazing job here, and is an extremely likable guy. His team is missing a Key player, but, they’re fun to watch, and having a great season so far. We have season tickets, but couldn’t go last night.

You must not read many of my posts. I’m usually fairly positive.
I‘ve already apologized for my posts about the women’s team. I‘m a huge fan. I ve had season tickets going way back to the beginning of MM.

I was irritated watching the game last night. Struggling with the worst team in the SEC at home.
My emotions got the best of me. I shouldn’t have posted anything. Again, I’ve already apologized.

I dont know who all watched that Oklahoma game but I did not see two good basketball teams that game. Niether team could score and it wasnt because of amazing defense.

I've watched all their games except two I think. They can shoot but are slow and the defense is not good. There is a big difference between the top 4 or so teams and then the next tier. UK is in that next tier.

What we have going for us is two legit players in Morgan and Strack. Missing Key right now as she gives rebounding and a good inside threat. Depth is an issue as well.

No worries OP. We all have some bad takes from time to time. I remember watching some of those dominant UCONN women's teams from years ago and telling one of my co-workers how they could beat some mid major men's teams. He thought I was crazy. I was crazy. Truth be told, solid high school teams would roll some the best WCBB teams.

If I had a nickel for every time I said something ridiculous I would have $238.65 in extra spending money. No worries.
