Agree. Coach Joe seems to shorten his bench in bigger games; not sure why. Iowa will very likely jump all over us at the start tomorrow; hopefully, we can respond.
On Jan 6 we went to IA city and won 77-69
VB had 25-6-6 (8 steals)
Daley had 22
Clark had 30 for IA
On Jan 28 we lost, at home, in OT, 67-72
VB had 19-6-7 (2 steals)
Hartman had 14
Daley had 13
Clark had 28 for IA
Clark averages 27.5. She leads the nation in PPG

Correct about the horrendous shooting - never have I seen it this bad. However, 8 players played important roles in this game, the starters, Walsh, Daley and Rainey. Defense won the game.
As Gato pointed out, we have beaten Iowa once and lost to them in OT. If we beat them, we are a shoe-in for the NCAA Tourney, and we might get in anyway even if we lose.
Yep. Walsh presence down the stretch really helped. She takes up a lot of space on defense. I love this team.
Have to make our free throws.Missed quite a few in the last couple of minutes.As usual the D bailed us out.Great play by Courtney Shaw who saved the ball underneath our basket passed it to Burton as she was falling out of bounds and Burton threw a perfect pass to Hartmann who drained a three as the shot clock ran out.Big time play late in the game.
