Hey guys! My wife started a catering and pop up kitchen business earlier this year and she’s really taken off. Here’s the relevant part - it is located inside the Horse and Jockey pub at the 5/3 pavilion and our hope is to provide affordable yet delicious options for people walking into the games and events at Rupp this fall and winter, as well as food on any given Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. So in that vein, what kind of food would you or your family like to purchase on the way into games? Burgers? Popcorn? Quesadillas? We’re open to what makes the best sense for being downtown and not wanting to spend a fortune!

We’re also running a fundraiser for Lafayette Band right now if you’d like to help out the arts and support local business. It’s also a good chance to try us now before picking up some food on your way to watch us play St. Joseph or whoever.

Here’s the link: https://www.partakelex.com/meal-kits

And here’s the relevant info for the fundraiser:
“Help support the Lafayette Band and support small business all at the same time! Family meal kits for $35 with $5 going directly to the band program! Pickup on August 4th for Lafayette families at the high school after band practice ends, pickup for others at the Horse and Jockey pub in downtown Lexington from 5-9PM. Orders accepted through August 2nd until 5pm.”

Would love to hear some feedback! Thanks everyone!

Nice fundraiser. Marinara is spelled wrong in the description by the way. Might have to order.

Burgers never fail. Especially the smashed kind.

Fixed, I suspect an iPhone fail. And yeah we’ve had success with smash burgers and they’ll be easy enough to crank out.
