With After the Burial and Alpha Wolf, September 11 at Appalachian Music Arena. That's one hell of a show.

Any recommendations on what to do in Pikeville? A good place for lunch that day?

Pikeville is a nice town. They've got a good little Italian joint, called Chiricos. They've got a BW's and a ton of chain restaurants if that is more up your alley.

Also, not sure if you would be interested, but Motionless in White and in This Moment are playing in Corbin August 13, I think.

Good summer for heavy music in East KY.

Never heard of these bands. I like some hard stuff but these bands must be really head banging if "mosh pit" is being thrown around.

I'll vote we try Chirico's. Their menu on their Facebook page looks great.

BBQ chicken cheesesticks.

I really like Corbin Arena but there's no way I can make the August 13 show. My job sucks in August. :b

I don't remember my last mosh pit. Maybe circa 2008, Phoenix Hill Tavern.

That's a filthy lineup. May make the drive from Lexington for some headbanging goodness.

Moshing doesn’t really mean anything. I got kicked in the head by a mosher at an Incubus show. Love them but they ain’t exactly a head banging band.

Yeah I've seen pits for music that didnt seem to fit with it but I'm cool with it.
Not trying to derail, but Les Claypool's Flying Frog Brigade is playing Iroquois Ampitheater at the end of the month. They will be playing Pink Floyd's Animals album and I am stoked.
