Signed his first contract extension after his rookie contract.

I coudn't find a top five at every position article for 2015, but as of November 2014, there were Sooners in the top five in salary at their NFL position in five positions. That has to be a worthwhile recruiting tidbit.

Gerald McCoy number 1 defensive tackle, $17,500,000. $5,000,000 more than number two, Suh.

Even though he missed most of the season, number 1 running back Adrian Peterson. $11,750,000 $4M more than number two, LeSean McCoy.

Surprise. Number 2 at right tackle: Phil Loadholt. $3.4 Million

Number 4 quarterback, Sam Bradford $14,015,000

Left Tackle Number 5 Trent Williams $7,250,000

Who knows about Phil after an achilles tendon injury this season, but Lane will be number one on the right tackle list.

And after this list, DeMarco Murray will likely be on the top five at running back. My guess is that the Eagles will create an offense more suiting to his skills and Sam's.

BTW, Texas had the number one outside linebacker, Brian Orakpo and OSU had the number two left tackle, Russell Okung who is a free agent and likely to do very well on the new open market.

6 year contract that guarantees $35.5M and has incentives that could take it to $63M. Boy just got paid! I could get by on $6M a year! Good for Lane. I wish him all the very best for a long, healthy and productive NFL career!
