I need to replace my laptop that's dying. Can't get on many web sites including this one and the screen is flickering a lot. I have to use my iPhone to get most information now and it's not convenient.

I would recommend and Apple product. I made the switch a few years back to the phone, iPad, lap top, and PC. It's nice that they automatically sync up and I don't think I've had any issues with any of them. Even have the Apple TV which I've used for tailgating

How much actual work do you do on your laptop? If it's just Internet, just go with a tablet. If more than that, I would recommend a Mac.

I want longevity more than anything. For whatever reason My last three laptops failed. One a mother board abruptly failed and the other two the screens eventually died (same brand).

Honestly you should give Mac a try. They take about a month to get used to but once you do you won't want to go back.

Avoid the Apple propaganda. It is brainwashing by communists.

Do you have a person in mind in Morgantown you could recommend who remodels bathrooms? I am in Texas and want them complete before my son starts there this fall.

If I were buying one for personal use these days, I'd probably be hard pressed NOT to buy an Apple.....but freely admit I'm as intrigued as hell with the Surface Pro product. Folks I know who own SP's simply cannot speak about them highly enough, both through their performance and their abilty to convert rapidly (and fairly elegantly) from laptop to tablet mode.

My experience with contractors in Morgantown was mostly bad. I had to remodel my bathroom myself because the guy I hired could not build a deck in a week.

The one guy I used who was really good was Gary Casteel. He did some roofing work for me. I dont know if he does remodelling like you want but if he does he is prompt and fair and did quality work.

Dave, it looks like shoddy work is OK and accepted. Here in SC, I get a contractor to do something and they never show up. Before starting to work here, I took 6 months off to do referb that the wife required. Imagine a damned accountant who hadn't driven a nail in 30 years taking on major renovation. Had to buy all tools. Was slow since I had to read the instruction manual every day before starting a project. Finished product was better than a contractor would have given.

Currently been after a building supply place to complete replacement door job that wife contracted and paid for in 2012. Legal fees would cost more than the job, so I will eat this one and be mad as hell.

I glanced at one last night. I'll revisit it again. Thank you.
