Las Vegas Bowl Dropping MWC

Looks like the Las Vegas Bowl is ending it’s tie-in with the Mountain West Conference. The game was a PAC-12 vs MWC matchup. The rumor is the SEC is the leader for replacing the MWC. This change is due to the new Raiders stadium being built. The game will be much more attractive given the stadium.

Too bad the ACC couldn’t work out a way to get in this bowl. I would love an opportunity to play a Pac 12 opponent in Las Vegas in December! Drop the Sun Bowl!

That's pretty hard core, for the Las Vegas Bowl to drop UNLV's league. It shows how little in-person attendance means for these 2nd tier bowls. It's all about TV revenue.
