Will be an interesting game. Explorers now 3-0 after beating a (weak) South Alabama team last night. Their leading scorer, BJ Johnson, is from Lower Marios HS, which I think is Kobe's school. He's averaging 22 points a game and at 6'7" will be Vic's all game. They start 3 Guards who all play the whole game. They have 2 6'10" C's who don't seem to factor too much in their offense or play many minutes.

Based on how NU played against G-centric offenses in their first 2 games, will be quite a challenge.

You are right! B.J. Johnson went to Kobe’s alma mater, Lower Merion High School. He originally played at Syracuse, but then transferred to LaSalle where his father played. He was a H.S. teammate of Daryl Reynolds, Villanova’s center last year. More important than any of this is that this is the same high school my son attended. B.J. Is a talented player.

The Cats will be extra motivated knowing that TheC will be in the house to watch them play LaSalle!

(That's assuming someone tells them I'll be there.)

Definitely not a team we can just show up and beat. If we play with the same intensity as Wednesday night, it's a game we will win barring a terrible shooting night. But if we come out slow, don't play with a sense of urgency, or have a terrible shooting night, we could easily be upset. While not one of the top teams in the conference, they play in the A-10, a league that I don't think gets nearly enough credit nationally year in and year out. They play some good basketball in that league.
