I think his last deep ball was v Nova. he certainly has not been able to hit a deep ball in the last two games. if we are being held down running with 7=8 guys in the box, shouldn't deep plays be more available? is Sean not able to throw deep now after the Iowa injury?

And he has the yips! I get it, he's running for his life at times. But when he has time he's hurrying his throws most of the time. Lack of confidence in this OL is understandable. But man is it frustrating to watch.

To a receiver who had a 20 yard gap on the defender and then had to dead stop to catch the ball. . Dotsons adjustments to most of Cliffords throws are what make his catches so great.Seems earlier this game first qtr

Exactly. If I was given $50 for every time I have seen a QB miss a wide open receiver while trying to throw it on a line, I could take one heckuva vacation. Clifford threw it correctly by putting air under the ball. Too bad Warren didn’t do that on the pass to Clifford in OT against Illinois.What’s your point? He hit the deep ball
