Just out of idle curiosity ….. do people (readers) really "laugh out loud" when they type "LOL" at the end of a story ? Or is it just out of habit ? Asking for a friend !

Anyone that types out "laugh out loud" is a psychopath and I won't be convinced otherwise

If I find something really, genuinely funny, I'll say something like "I really did lol; that was a good one" or something of the sort.

A special needs adult was making wooden pallets and accidentally nailed his hand to a long board with a nail gun. The dude was as cool and calm as a cucumber...until the supervisor said "get a saw." (He was gonna cut off part of the board to make it smaller so it would be easier to transport the patient to the hospital). As soon as he heard "saw," the poor guy wigged out like Frankenstein on fire screaming and knocking stuff everywhere yelling "PLEASE DON'T CUT MY ARM OFF PLEASE DON'T CUT MY ARM OFF!!!" He didn't realize the supervisor was just gonna cut the board [roll].
I literally rolled in the floor and laughed my f#cking ass off.
Willy was the only poster on this board that ever made me actually laugh out loud. And he did it on the reg. Unfortunately, some dumbazz Barney Fife type mofo decided to put an end to that. Now all I can do is smmfh.

My oldest daughter has a bad habit of putting LOL at the end of every text. I asked her what the crap is she going to do when she has a friend who's family member dies and she says "Sorry for your loss LOL"
