I saw Law miss a three and then throw down a nasty breakway dunk -- but then we had two earthquakes and I stopped watching.

Pardon didn't play (coach's decision).

.

The Orlando Sentinal had an article of DP.

If Dererk Pardon was three or four inches taller, he almost certainly would have been a first round draft pick. But because he’s 6-foot-8 and plays like a traditional center, he wasn’t a top-end prospect coming out of Northwestern, where he had a fantastic senior season, averaging 14.0 points and 7.8 rebounds.

I think because of the earthquakes and aftershocks, they ended the game at the end of the 3rd quarter. I was 3/4 asleep with the sleep timer set on the TV, though.

I always thought (hoped) DP would draw some comparisons to Draymond Green with his athleticism, build, and ability to defend 2-5. His inability to really develop his shot or ball handling has clearly hurt him.

Law had 2 points and 2 boards in 9 minutes in game 2, then Pardon finally got his first action yesterday, with 7 points, 2 boards and an assist in 13 minutes. Assuming Pardon will play again today with Law sitting out.

Pardon played in his 2nd game on Wednesday, putting up only 3 points and 2 boards in 9 minutes. Clearly neither Law nor Pardon factored heavily into the Magic's plans, but hopefully they showed a few things to either catch on in the G-League or overseas.

Surprised this hasn't been reported here.

Pardon signs in Belgium

That said, every link to "Sportnando" I've seen is a broken link, so I'm not convinced this is real yet. Haven't seen it reported by Northwestern yet.

The NBA careers of Law and Pardon may be coming to an end, but a nice game from both yesterday. Vic went for 9 points and 6 boards, while Pardon had 7 points and 3 boards and was an impressive +19 on his time on the floor.
