Just from looking at his film, he's been well-coached to find the right guy and deliver the ball. Seems like he gets through his progressions pretty quickly and is accurate. Don't care at all if he can't throw it 70 yards, just that the throws it to the right guy at the right time and moves the chains.

Great pickup.

The DL from Dartmouth might be a nice addition to the 3rd and long package on D with what looks like pretty quick feet for a guy his size. I'd rather have 240-275 lb guys rushing in obvious passing downs than have 2 300+lb guys just sort of holding their ground.

Any chance we can convince Mertz to come be the backup this year and be the starter the next year? Tough sell but knowing Leary's durability issues there's a decent chance he'll get some run this year.

How good can we be with a QB like this? How long has it been since we had one this good? And with ample firepower all around him like we haven't seen before in terms of quality and quantity.
Can be very special but as we saw this year you have to protect the QB. OL has to be good or all the weapons don’t really matter.

And just like that Kentucky said to the rest of the entire country:
We have the money honey. Kentucky will be a player in this game now.

Old guard TAKE NOTICE!

Kentucky don't need five star players from high school anymore. 💯.
The field has been equalized. You're not going to win by just hoarding all the five star players you can possibly get ANYMORE.
The most important thing you can have in a coach right now is talent evaluator.💯💯💯... And I believe in Mark Stoops and Vince Marrow when it comes to that. Proven track record. They know players when they see them. This coaching staff's biggest talent honestly is Talent evaluation 💯

Best thing we ever did was tie our school to the Stoops family. They know players, coaches, and have connections. Like Mike Leach said a while back " the Stoops family have an advantage. If they have a problem they just call one of their brothers or connections".
