The whole squatters rights laws are completely bewildering to me
Apparently in New York if you're gone for 30 days, and someone moves into your home, they have squatters rights.
I mean why TF are there even squatters rights laws? The hell is the point?

It’s a political conversation. So will probably make some people mad.
Making it as vanilla and neutral as possible: certain states and cities, controlled by a certain political group, thinking that they are sticking up for the weak against the strong, have turned laws upside down to the point that criminality is not just ignored but rewarded.
I hope everyone who votes for this political group and it's policies comes home and finds their locks changed and their house full of "immigrants".
Liberals hate it when they are confronted with the consequences of their compassion for terribly bad and reprehensible people and criminals.
