No question. Bilas is the best in the business.True professional and knows his game. He gives Duke no preferred treatment like a true professional should. I know a lot of you don't like him but there is no doubt in my mind as to where his loyalty lies. He is a Duke treasure and when his tinexpensive is up he will one of the best all time in his field. I know Coach K respects him and his honesty. Just my own dadgummed opinion and I could give a ram's crap how you feel about how I feel. I said it and I ain't gonna take it back. OFC
Love listening to bilas...he knows the game and does a great job IMO
Most here dislike him because he don't show favoritism towards his alma mater 100% of the time...not me though...love him doing our games

It’s not that he doesn’t go out of his way to show favoritism to Duke. It’s that he appears to go out of his way to praise the Cheats. If a fan were listening to him and didn’t know he played for Duke they would probably assume he was a former Cheat player.
Listening to him it is apparent that he likes listening to himself and thinks he is the cleverest guy in the house.
I’d rather listen to Alexandra Ocasio Cortez talk for 3 hours about how much she dislikes the country than listen to Elmore!

Bilas is the absolute worst for me. Doesn’t matter if it’s s Duke game or not, if he’s commentating, I turn the sound off. Brutal for me to listen to him.
Bilas is sharp. He just seems to be careful on air, for fear of being called a homer. He has softened up some, and doesn’t seem to mind it as much if people know he played at Duke.
He reminds me of the dad that coaches his son, and is cautious to praise his son, even if he’s really good.

Elmore's hate for Duke overwhelms anything else he says about the game.
If we remember how much Bilas loves Duke deep down, his constant downplaying of Duke and compliments for everyone else is easier to take.
Some day someone will explain to me why it's OK for a UNC guy or an Auburn guy or Michigan guy to be a homer, but a Duke homer would be banned for life.

I went with Len. Bilas is so annoying to me. Len is like 1/8th a step better

Not myself....I dont like homers. I think Grant Hill, G-Man and Jimmy Spanarkle are 3 Duke guys who call it straight down the middle. They also bring class to the broadcast...OFC

Wes has done a good job. I am sure he knew going into the business there would be the inevitable comparison to his dad.Hes handled it well, and as you say comes across as "very professional." OFC
I actually love Walton. His stories off the court are fantastic. Walton DGAF about espn and says/does what he wants. I applaud that.

Elmore used to do so many of our games I thought he requested them just so he could belittle our program. I hope he does at least a couple of our games this year just to remind those who voted for him just how anti Duke and how much he despises Duke . Anyone who has that much against Coach K and Duke should be the low life of the broadcasting world as far as Duke fans go. It's like who do you like posting better on DI troller steat from thr or anyone of us. Come on guys I know several of you don't care for Jay but me a break. Freaking Elmore! HE HATES DUKE! Jay loves Duke. Think about it. Remember it was Elmore or Bilas. Not Bilas or fill in the blank. To be honest I did not think anyone would vote for Elmore. It's sort of like if you had to vote for the POTUS and your candidates where Donald Trump ( Bilas )or Kim Jong- un ( Elmore ) who would it be? I do respect your feelings about Jay though but do have a question for you Say you are in a sports bar with your Duke gear on and in walks Jay with his Duke gear on and sees your are a Duke fan and takes the stool next to you and says. " let me buy a fellow Dukie a drink and sits with you a hour or so talking Duke basketball. " At what point do you tell him how you feel about him and let him know you don't appreciate his style and why he can't be more like his other peers besides Elmore and be a homer.
