I gave up alcohol, and today is 21 days, not that I am counting or anything.

Since Lent started, I have slept like a baby, and have lost a few pounds, and best of all, have not really missed it nearly as much as I thought I would. Glad I did it, had become a bit of a bad habit. This is my longest period of abstinence since high school. Another side benefit is that eating out has been a lot cheaper and my wife has loved having a designated driver for a change.

What did everyone else give up and how is it going?

My wife gave up sweets and alcohol during the week - and is limiting herself to only 2 alcoholic beverages on the weekend.

I gave up having a non-grumpy wife.

I gave up SEC officials. The bastards just wont go away though because twice a week I turn on the game and they're still there. :chairshot:

Just added another last night, got my season ticket order and gave up my football tickets. Told the UKAA that just like the football team does annually, I am going to "wait until next year"

Vanilla frosted donuts from Zaro's bakery on my way to work. My guilty pleasure for 3/5 mornings for 2 years. Doing well so far, although it's not like I gave up meat or alcohol.
