He had better bring a damn good OC if he expects to win in the Pac-12 because his offenses at LSU were putrid and that was one of the main reasons they struggled when they did.

I suppose that there would not be a lot of pressure to win and win right away...

Was he really that bad of a coach at LSU that some better programs are not looking at him?

It might not be about him wanting something "better" it might be about him wanting something to do. No pressure, no rush, still gets paid really well. If you are OSU the pressure is now on you to look at Les because if you don't you end up looking like a fool.

Yep, some guys just aren't made to ride off into the sunset. I think Miles enjoys coaching and wants to work with kids.

When I was researching Frost's practice regime, one of the interviews said something like "I had to explain to my guys what a FB is/does" because they don't use one.

A lot of guys will be interested. It is a lotto ticket. Why wouldn't a coach be interested if they are not currently coaching.

Unfortunately, not all coaches are good managers of their money. They spend it all and have to work long after normal retirement age to keep up the lifestyle they were used to. That has happened to a couple of our old assistants.

And some guys just love the game and don't do it solely for the money.

Funny. Chris Peterson just had similar comments.

RollingLaugh Wooooooow!

Crazy how the game has evolved.

Why have another player behind the QB when you could have another WR to pass to!?

Someone on the offense probably asked:

"Why do we need a lead blocker? Is he going to block for the RB after he catches the ball?"
