If you told this fan base at the beginning of the year that this team would miss their backup PG for most of the season, lose their starting PG and starting SG and PF halfway through the season, would only play 7 fully healthy games in what became the best single season performance a conference has ever seen, walked away with a three seed, wins over Duke, Gonzaga, UT x2, Florida, we would have laughed.

Let’s go make a run in the tournament. Even butler at 60% is good enough for that to happen.

We won't see teams like this early in the NCAAT. I think we blow through the first two games in to the 2nd weekend. Then matchups determine if we make the E8 or go home in the S16. But if we get a tough team and fight to the end of the S16, I will be happy with this year. If we go E8, I'll say we dramatically overachieved.

Interested to see who we add from the portal, we need some athletes taller than 6’4 as well that can defend and block out. Can he recruit out of state talent high level ones at that? I’d love to see something besides dribble handoffs on offense too, it worked early but then became too predictable.

If butler hurts, we have no chance to win against 6/11 seed

Whew it’s going to come down to how they adjust for the Lamont situation.

Kenpom dropped to 16 after tonight.

Wisconsin, Arizona, and Maryland are the teams to watch tomorrow. If all 3 win I’d be shocked to hang onto a 3 seed.

I’m not sure how big of a difference it makes the first weekend anyways with so much parity in the sport currently. If someone brings up the 1 seeds being superior to the 2s it takes us getting to the second weekend anyways which is very far from guaranteed

Even all maryland, zona, wisc wins, zona does not have better resume than us. We are probably #9 or #10 overall. So we will be low 3 at worst. Only wisc and maryland could exceed us.

We are pretty safe for #3
