Good guy, good coach who tried to turn around one of the most difficult basketball situations. And had some success.

The Big Ten is less interesting without Miles in it.

Agree he's a good guy. He'll land on his feet at another school.

Nebraska has great facilities and great support. They expect to win and he didn't, so he's out. Same thing will happen to Collins if there are a couple more seasons like the last two.

That job has tended to be dead end for head coaches. Great facilities and good fan support don't guarantee a whole lot these days. Suffers from the same thing as Notre Dame basketball or Penn St. basketball: always second or third banana. The ND women's team outdraws the men's team right now and for all I know, so does their hockey team.

So if Nebraska commits can get a release now that Miles is out... would love for us to pursue Mika Adams-Woods.

He went to New Hampton Prep, the same school as Anthony Gaines, Collier Drayton and Brendan Smith (safety on football team mid-2000s).

ESPN is reporting Hoiberg has agreed to a 7 year, $25M contract.

Big boy coaching money.
