Frost, he succeeds at everything he does and is one of our own. Why do people question it????
Give me Frost. He's 42 and has been associated with the best of the best (list below). And has turned a 0-12 team to 7-0 so far this year.

I like Frost one of my favorite players, but just asking with some proven coaches that would be hard to pass over. I agree Frost/Fuentes would be close and would prob take my chance with Frost. The other two for me before Frost
I would rather have Kermit, the homeless man that lived behind our Frat house in the 90's as the coach.
Seriously, I think Frost could be a great HC here, but how could anyone pick him over Peterson.

Patterson is my number 1, even if it's not realistic. I sure hope Frost is ready. I'm just not ready to experiment again.
I think we should have asked that question when we hired Bo in the first place. Big mistake. and don't give me that 9 win crap. Bo was (and is) a mediocre coach with behavioral issues. He was never good enough for Nebraska. Same goes for Riley. But with Riley at least he doesn't embarrass the school with his behavioral. We sucked under Pelini. How he didn't recruit and elite defense after Suh and Amukamara is beyond me. If Bo would have put his all into recruiting he would be the defensive genius that we all hoped he might be.
Yeah, I've been off the Riley bandwagon for last couple of weeks. I just can't excuse the Northern Illinois loss. To survive this year, he had to win certain games. He has not. Today was very painful. So was last week, even with the victory. Personally, I say that Riley gets the whole year and then you fire him. The buyout should be in place by then. If Frost is coming, then hopefully have a deal in place before the seasons end.
There are high expectations at NU. Riley knew that when he signed the dotted line.

It's a gamble but it almost has to be Frost. IF it works you've got your coach for a long long time.
I think you would be crazy to take Frost over Peterson. Everyone has been clamping about getting a proven coach. You don't get much more proven than Peterson.
Peterson isn't leaving UW for NU. Ain't happenin so why even dream it.

He's pretty much the power out on the west coast right now, that is a good position to be in as a head coach.
I'm not disagreeing. But it was a hypothetical question by the OP. Of that list, Peterson is by far the top choice IMO.
All three above Frost. Easy choice. I would take Frost, if we couldn't get the above. Those three ahead of Frost? It is a no-brainer. I like Frost but, C'mon man.

I would take any of those 3 over Frost but since I doubt they're realistic options I've had frost as my 2nd choice behind Chip Kelly. I think when you consider the cost of buyouts to get Peterson, Patterson, or Fuente, it seems more reasonable to take the risk on Frost who could very well end up being as good or better than all those guys someday.
Peterson is probably my favorite coach in football right now though. Great talent evaluator and developer.
