We are witnessing history. I've been around awhile, and while I remember teams with more talented players, I don't remember a "team" better than this one. The 2003 team was a good "team". Others were as well, not trying to disrespect any of our teams.

Having said that, I'm asking all of my fellow UK fans to act like we've been there. We don't storm courts. We don't act like idiots just because we are better than everyone, because we are usually better than everyone.

I'm remotely new to this board, and actually got suspended briefly for complaining about the way other UK fans act and post on here. I'm not trying to start an argument, I'm just saying, let's enjoy this run, don't blindly criticize other teams because they are not us. Let's focus on our positives instead of other teams negatives. Our positives are better than everyone else's negatives. When we make up names for our opponents like "Loserville" and "UNCheat" and spend all of our breath talking about what they've done, it makes us as a fan base look bad.

I assume that all of you, like me, know a lot of UL fans and fans of other schools. They love to criticize us as a fan base because of our fanaticism. Let's not give them ammunition with this great run going on. We do that too often.

Let me get this straight, you're off suspension and you turn right around and start a thread exactly like the one that got you suspended? Here's an idea, how about you worry about you and let the rest of us worry about us. Just like you were told the first time you started one of these threads, it's not your job to police this forum, so kindly stfu. Thanks.

So that's the difference. Glad to know I made the right choice though I actually have had tea and biscuits. They didn't have bacon on them though.

Nice quote. "I'm a bigger UK fan than all of you (not sure if that is exact quote b/c it was erased)" is a saying meant to indicate that I'm a big fan, no offense was intended. I realize we are all big UK fans. I never said "don't question me."

My post(s) are sincere and not intended to offend any posters. I have read this board regularly since I discovered it recently, and while I disagree with what some post, I don't pick fights. I am merely voicing my opinion about what I've heard other team's fans say and my opinion on how we can avoid some of their criticism. If you disagree, fine. That is why we have free speech and these forums. GBB

Enlighten us on why we should actually care what "other team's fans say"?

We rule NCAA Basketball. The rest of the country needs to appreciate what we as a fan base do for the game of basketball.

Good, you should. But, we are all judged as a fanbase because of it. Not sure if you saw it, but we were voted the 2nd dumbest fans in the country. That wasn't because of anything I've said.

What you say will not come back to bite me, and I will not hide in a hole. I will be in Indy cheering my team on instead of somewhere else making fun of other teams.

If you truly think that will "lessen" the venom spewed by others, then you haven't been a uk fan long. When you're on top, the haters come out in full force & when you're not they back off. I'm sure they'd much rather us have the quitter tubby still here or the drunk bcg playing golf at midnight cause we were not the top dog under them.

So you come on a message board after UK winning 33-0 and you're asking us to "stay classy"? We've been extremely classy through out. All the while the media as beaten us like a pulp. The "Clutter". and you wanna troll? We're going 40-0 and we may burn a couch two along the way..

I just love the "stay classy" ish that I see regarding our fan base. No fan base acts like they've been there before like UK(and to an extent UNC** err..) We are FAR more classy than the likes of Louisville or most of your second fiddle schools. I've been around plenty of fan bases in my time. UK fans are one of the more classy fan bases by FAR.

I guess by classy you mean clapping for Auburn seniors that got blown the F out today? I watched plenty of games today. I don't recall another fan base that did that for an opposing team. Its a MYTH that UK has a bad fan base. A complete lie told by lesser people who hate the best. It's that simple.

The media has not beaten us to a pulp. We are a darling right now. They love us. We are on ESPN all day. I'm not sure what a "troll" is, but if it is someone that doesn't agree with a lot of you about whether we should spend our time making fun of other teams instead of cheering for ours, then i may be one. Didn't see this post being what you guys are making it. If it came off preachy, I'm sorry, it wasn't my intent. I've read threads here before where people have asked fans to do this and that without this reaction.

Yea because ESPN can't use our name and image to make $$ and their analyst rip us all at the same time. It's that mutually exclusive thing, isn't it?

I dont see the need in bashing the op so harshly.

Some fans probably need some advice such as this even though it likely wont do any good, but still if op is sincere then he should have his say.

Ultimately any fan is his own person.

Isn't this the same guy a week or two ago that was on here saying he was a bigger fan of UK for a longer time than most or something to that affect. Now he's back here trying again to incite reactions. Good luck with that.
