Only burger that i will even think about eating...

Glamburger

Honky Tonk, London

$1,768

A big F you to the others, this reigning champ from Honky Tonk debuted last year. A Kobe and Wagyu patty is delicately garnished in gold leaf, with lobster, caviar, venison, a freaking duck egg, and black truffle. It's something like 2,500 calories and requires you to be okay consuming parts of several different animals and a wedding ring at the same time.

All the restaraunts participating in burger week are offering their special burger for a small price of 5 bucks. Quite a deal.
Seems to be a lot of spicy options but I'm leaning towards the offering from Willie's Locally Known.

The Willie Stiff
Willie's Locally Known
286 Southland Drive

Beef patty topped with slow-pulled pork and gouda cheese. Finished off with housemade pickles, cured bacon, pickled onions, slaw and Willie’s mustard sauce over a brioche bun.

Tried the pineapple express burger from Freakin' Unbelievable Burgers yesterday and was pretty impressed by it...different flavors all in one. I am definitely trying the burger from Willie's this week.

Looks about like the burger JDI had last year for Burger Week.

Had Athenian yesterday. I like their normal lamb burger. Would like to try the Enoteca burger.

I had it for lunch today. Damn good burger. If only I was 12 it would have been enough lunch. Had to a 3 oz burger on a tiny bun. Ordered the lemon roasted potatoes as a side. Gave me about 1/2 what I get when I go there and order off the menu.

I get its Burger Week and they aren't going to make huge burgers for the most part but damn don't skimp on my sides when I'm paying full price for them.

I love Athenian Grill and will keep going back but I won't be doing burger week there anymore. I'll just stick to the menu.

Had the burger from JDI for lunch today. Good not great. I feel there are better options at other fine establishments around this great town.

Will keep you posted if I try any others.

BTW, thanks for all the participation from you fat asses that I know have tried at least 5 of these this week and don't want to share your experience because you're afraid everyone will think you're a fat ***, fat asses.

Alright men, women, children, and others. Not that this thriving thread needs another post but I wanted to give everyone an update.

Tried the burger from Willie's today and I'm going to give an A+. Much better than the offering from JDI. If I was to rate it on my Delicious to Crap scale this would be near maxing out on delicious.

Anyone else try and want to give a review? Maybe you've tried one of the other burger weak features and would like to share? TIA

Back when I used to live in Lexington, Shamrock's was tough to beat for burgers. Can't say that I've been to every place on that entire list, but give me Shamrock's every day. Going back about 5 years, they used to have some decent looking servers too, which helped.

I've had Smithtown(good) and Athenian(good) but yeah. At $5.00 they were both really small. I don't need a huge burger for lunch but the bread/dressing to meat ratio was off on both.

3 in a week. Today was not my idea. Sloot made us go there and they really didn't have any other options other than those **** burgers. She instantly regretted it as they were awful.
