Didn't know anything about him or that the campaigning for mayor was happening before this post.

I assume Gorton will win again anyway as she did easily last time.

That candidate is a non factor, will be Gorton and Kloiber in the fall, and unless something amazing happens, she will win easily.

Not even sure Kloiber will be a factor. So far the only thing he's running on is too much crime in Lexington and putting more cops on the streets.

Gorton is a registered R, more of an independent. But lexington mayor races are non partisan on the ballot. She was vice mayor for Gray who's a D.

She won't say who she votes for on a federal level.

FWIW, her husband is ex military I think. Personally, think she has done a fine job, crime notwithstanding (has increased in nearly every city across the country), and she will get my support.

Kloiber comes from a very wealthy family, and seems determined to waste a ton of his family fortune running an impossible uphill race.

Hopefully, neither will support the idiotic idea of building a soccer stadium on the most prime piece of real estate remaining in the heart of downtown.
