He will play immediately barring injury or misdeed off the field.
There are three other linebackers still available. Hope at least one comes on board. They are:
Tuliaupupu from California....4-star.
Oats from Ohio....4-star.
Robertson from California....4-star.

And CB, Radley-Hiles is suppose to declare this weekend. Everyone says it's OU and we need good CB. So hopefully. Has anyone heard what ONeil is going to do?

We need at least one more strong prospect at LB

OU needs middle backers, OU has more jack/edge guys then they know what to do with.

Giving AA the cold shoulder before signing day to me is baffeling considering they are being strung along by White which by my uneducated estimation is a mediocre undersized middle linebacker.

Sure he moves well in space but to win another national championship, OU needs difference makers, and he isn't it. So not sure why all the eggs are in that basket.

Inside LB is a huge need for OU. Been a long time since we had an inside linebacker that was a huge difference maker.

It's my understanding that they plan to move Kenneth Murray to O.L.B. next year. J.M.T. may be in the middle or someone we are currently recruiting...White?

If JMT wasn't good enough to start over Murray this year, a freshman, who had never played the position and had tons of issues playing assignment sound football, I don't know why anyone thinks he will be the answer next year. If anything it makes me feel less optimistic about the defense going forward.

Unless OU decides to switch to a 4 front I just see linebacker being an issue for the next for years at the very least. Even if they switch to a 4 front backer will still probably be an issue but less of one.

Next year I think we will see, Kelley, Murray and Draper as starters with Bolton, getting more playing time. Gumbs and Jackson fighting it out for the Jack

I think Draper just might be special, the guy is a hitter, with great instincts

I wish I could say that there is much optimism next year on D. Coaching will remain blah and the filler players for Obo and others are not game changers. Several people I have talked with since the Rose Bowl compared us to Oregon...which made me shudder. Not too far off the mark though.

I dislike 'BLAH' about as much as Any Word I know, and I agree with you...I like Black, or White, but NO Grey...Long, or Short, but NO Medium...I hate ORDINARY...I fear that that is where we are going...
