Ancient Mesoamericans could produce liquid mercury by heating mercury ore, known as cinnabar, which they also used for its blood-red pigment. They then put the liquid mercury in the tomb. /thread

Liquid Mexicans under Mercury Pyramid. Now THAT'S a headline.

Mods please ban funkycat for hate speech. His use of "liquid Mexicans" as code words to describe Mexicans as "wet backs" offends me. TIA

I must now retreat to my Catpaw safe space.

Used to play with the stuff in my 20's in chemistry labs. Probably will kill me before I'm 50 - oh wait, that was many years ago. Recall having a quart of it in a plastic jar. Like to couldn't lift it.
