3 referees in that game were
Randy McCall—older white guy

Most of the bad calls and no calls seemed to stem from that clown.
And he was actually screaming it at his two teammates. The defender just happened to be to the left and between BG and his teammates. A really chicken$hit call.
I think it's a bad look for UK fans to always be caught up so much in the actual names and identities of referees. And sometimes I think these kinds of posts are started by trolls who want to make UK fans look like nutcases.
So now you answer my question.
That call angered me as well... although I feel there must have been a meeting or some sort of discussion recently to crack down on the celebratory tech's, espcially if its directed at an opponent or their bench. Thst was the 3rd or fourth ridiculous T call I've seen on celebration over the last week or so. Its like the players can't celebrate or basically show any emotion whatsoever.
The last thing officials need is a greater degree of anonymity.
My friends (here in Ohio) think it's cool that I know who the referees are on sight most of the time. They comment on just how knowledgeable UK fans seem to be about the game in general.
Fwiw, we went to a couple of OSU games last year, and Rabbit Ears was calling one. I verbally abused him all game and the people around us thought it was hilarious.
On an unrelated note, we also went to the OSU-IU game and were seated near a group of IU fans. They were being typical IU trash until I started teasing them about making a popcorn box to commemorate a regular season win.
They finally got up and left. F that Hoosier trash.
I guess screaming at the top if your lungs like Ike did was okay but saying "And 1" deserves a technical. SMH
Tend to agree. Ends up becoming a self fulfilling prophecy too. Refs catch on to stuff like this — do people think they aren’t going to antagonize our program as a response? Of course they will. I’d prefer to be like Pope in the area. Respect the officials and win between the lines

Yeah, you never hear a kid scream “and 1” lol.
Nixon called the technical from behind Garrison, on the baseline.. Meanwhile Gonzaga players were flexing and screaming after each dunk.
Chicken-**** call that changed momentum for no reason.

Well I don't know about the person who originally asked but I can say for myself that I would like to know so that when I'm checking who the refs are for an upcoming game I can prepare myself for the hose job that UK is about to receive. I know that the refs are not supposed to have a bias but they are human and some most certainly do have a bias against UK.
I mean I hear players legit screm "and1" all the time going for a layup with any sort of contact. If that was the legit for sure reason behind the T that's softer than the Charmin factory.
