Been a fan for years how do I stop caring
You devote your time and energy to more important things. I attended a few funerals in which the deceased had a great love for sports and/or playing video games. That’s really sad and pathetic. That at the end of the day, the were remember by what team they cheered for, and how they wasted their precious time on this earth. Find better hobbies. And yes. I realize how hyprocritical it is to say this while typing on a meaningless message board.

You don't have to STOP caring, but you might simply care a little less. That is not difficult to do. When Kentucky plays, continue to watch the games with a revised persoective, unless you have something better to do. Remember: You can ALWAYS tape the games and watch them later ... if you want to.

Repeating: Caring less is not the same as not caring at all. It is just an adjusted perspective and revised emotional investment. A "healthier" outlook.

I just don’t understand that statement. I could totally agree if you had said “this year” but there were numerous games last year that were the most enjoyable and watchable than the previous five years total.
well i was also going thru a ton of stuff last year as well, but still something for me just hasn't clicked under pope

Lol how is it sad and pathetic if they were happy? Although, sports teams usually make us unhappy. I've definitely taken a step back when it comes to being fanatical about sports. Having kids will help with that.

Chose to be positive and stip whining about something you have 0 control over
About Kentucky basketball? There’s nothing to be positive about. OP wants to leave the negativity surrounding the program and that means getting UK out of their life.
