Before this season, this held true for Duke a lot as we all know. I was glad to see us be less dependent on the 3 this year and that we took it to the hoop more. Of course having Okafor was a big help in that regard. Going forward, do you see us going back to relying on the 3 ball again or will we keep driving the lane? I guess that depends largely on the makeup of our team.

Like any other team we have it'll depend on who's on the roster. Duke molds its team to its personnel. Having said that K is fond of the 3 ball and players that can knock it down, it's such a luxury to have. Next year i'd expect us to shoot a ton of 3's- Grayson, Matt & Luke can all stroke it from deep.

I hate that term. If you hit 40% from deep, your stupid to pass up a great look. You need to shoot 60% from two to make up for 40% from three. People "live and die" by whatever they do best. Duke could not make inside looks to save their life in the first game at ND. Did they live and die by the two?

Matt and Grayson attack the basket, but also shoot. We will need those two guys to make major strides in the off season. Otherwise, I see us shooting a few more threes next year.

It's been a long time since we've had a post presence like Okafor. One of the reasons we have "died by the 3" so often is that we haven't had someone who can get easy buckets when we aren't shooting well.
