idk it's 50-50 us and Kentucky. We've both had success lately recruiting. My gut says Kentucky, but Jon's been white hot lately. This is the kind of recruiting battle that wins titles, like Boozer or Oakafor or AD.

I believe on Sept. 12, yes. Oh wait, no. That was a home visit. He visited Duke in early summer. Had to google it. If Jon wins this one he may be the new king of recruiting. He's already right up there.

Well I'd rather have a junior Williams. But is that really realistic? Although I was surprised his NBA stock wasn't higher. If Mark is projected late first round he will go I imagine. He can be more than halfway to a degree. I'd be thrilled with a junior Williams. The NBA wants big men who can shoot or be versatile like Draymond Green.

We got a Crystal Ball pick for Duke today from Travis Branham at 247 Sports. The momentum is switching back to us, at least for today. For what it's worth.

Waiting to hear what the insiders are saying. The CB pick for duke is about the most accurate guy for what it’s worth
And you still believe Williams will stay after his sophomore play. He could have left after last season .

Know Kentucky prioritized Lively over Adem Bona, but sort of curious if this is a situation where they go the route of potentially taking Bona, as well as pushing for Yohan Traore. Like Flip, Traore has skyrocketed up the rankings and attends the same high school as Shaedon Sharpe.

Could UK be okay losing Lively because they know they can get Bona and potentially Traore? Just a thought since they’ve backed off a couple guard targets in Bradley and Nick Smith.

I wish we knew what guru gary-7 is saying about Lively. He knows. Too bad we here at DI were all banned from thr. We should have kept out mouths shut and now the most knowledgible, resourceful, reliable college basketball guru ever is off limits us. :) OFC

This could go either way, but the general buzz seems to have gone from "Lively to Kentucky to toss up between Kentucky and Duke." So that's good for us. This kid is a difference maker.
Edit: Someone named Graff just switched his pick to Duke. I don't have the link, but it's @heatCheckHoops.

The recent chatter is towards Duke, but we all know these things could go either way. Scheyer appears to have gained ground with the home visit.

UK fans seem pretty excited to go back to 6-7 OAD’s coming in, steal all the minutes, not play too hard fearing injury, play hero ball, then bail for the NBA as the others transfer out. They already seem to have too many people on the roster expecting vast amounts of playing time this year, many which still would be on next years team.

We have definitely become the favorites, although it's just rumor and the confidence levels are around 6. Still encouraging, and certainly a change from last week.

New member here! Have been following this board for years and finally created an account! Fell in love with Duke with the 2000-2001 team and glad to be amongst fellow Duke fans! On that note- things look good with Lively and I think we sell him on the idea Flip is a true stretch 4. Monday cannot come soon enough!

If we are able to land Mitchell he seems to be more of a 4 than a 3. So that would help with depth too.

Cal is reportedly meeting with big man Bona today. I think Lively's ours.
It’s going to be an interesting finish to the recruiting cycle. We land Lively and then UK lands Bona. We land Mitchell and then UK lands Wallace. It will be curious to how this all washes out as Scheyer and Cal are going blow for blow.
